Memory Foam Construction: By now most people know that memory foam was originally created for use by NASA in airplanes because of its ability to mold itself around your body according to pressure and bodyweight. One of the only possible nits that I could find with the CR Sleep Ventilated Memory foam pillow is that it has a strong chemical odor when you unbox it. However, the smell dissipates in the span of a week or so.
You might want to let it air dry for a few days before you use it. I just used some Febreze and it was fine in a couple of days.
Would I consider the odor to be a deal breaker? Definitely not.

Most pillows that are advertised or marketed for specialized conditions like cervicalgia, or even the so-called ‘Cool’ pillows are priced above $150. I was always skeptical about spending that amount of money for something that ‘might’ never work for me.
