My review

One of the biggest selling bamboo mattresses is this offering from LUCID, the 2.5-inch mattress. Whilst not as thick as the massive 16-inch mattress, this does a very good job, but at a fraction of the cost. The mattress does have an initial odor, but if you follow the instructions and let it air for a couple of the days the chemical smell does go away. The Gel infused mattress does a great job of keeping you cool at night and with the bamboo cover as well, you will have no worries in having a cool night’s sleep.

My verdict, the 2.5-inch LUCID bamboo mattress has 13.5-inches less than it’s big brother, but is a lot cheaper, so perfect if your budget is smaller. It has the same gel infused memory foam mattress topper and a 100% bamboo cover. It might not be as thick, but you will still get a fantastic night’s sleep and it excellent for lumbar support, 4.7/5.0.
